In the exhibition I am presenting, I bring together a series of 16 unpublished photographs taken in 2020, which will be included in the "Lyrical Landscapes" collection begun years earlier, and which emerged from the pursuit of the evocative and suggestive power of the environment. Égloga despierta awakens the poetic musicality of a bucolic rural-setting genre, with the exaltation of a family's rustic life.

Just as pages compose the entirety of a book, I have written this story through the recording of images in the different spaces that shape that house, preserved from human visits for the last 35 years—without altering or repositioning a single element to obtain the final image, which I feel would have manipulated the reality of that magical, wonderful world I found.

Each scene captured portrays the encounter between a forgotten past and a modern gaze.
